This is a great looking stand. One problem though is that we had hoped to use the bottom shelf to hold DVDs. There is a bar across the top front of the shelf that holds the middle shelf and this reduces the height available to less than the height of a DVD by about 1/4". It would have been so easy for the manufacturer to increase the height of that shelf by just one inch and then DVDs could be stored there as well. The dimensions quoted in the specifications do NOT account for the bar - The actual usable height is ~7.25" under the bar. This is really frustrating since otherwise the stand is perfect and very good looking.
