It was extremely time consumimg to put together. I was dissapointed that the color was much lighter than the picture shown on the internet and also on the box. Even so, it is an attractive piece of furniture.

I was really excited to receive this item, since it was a bestseller. However, I was slightly disappointed once it was assembled. The quality is not as good as I expected. The finish on the product is a lot lighter color than shown in the picture. Assembly was a little confusing at times because there was no text included. The fasteners were not of high quality and were difficult to fasten once installed in the cabinet. The drawers do not slide in and out of the track smoothly.

This product is working out great so far.\n\nMost of the pieces are made of laminated fiberboard, but it is a nice MDF for added support. The top and bottom main pieces are hardwood, providing a nice base for even the largest tube TV. Having a relic of a 36" Toshiba CRT, this stand has had no problems supporting is relatively massive weight. \n\nConstruction took approximately 4 hours, but that included several distractions, so I would estimate that had I done it in one shot it would have taken roughly 2 hours. A power drill will save you at least an hour, as there are a lot of screws. I would also suggest additional wood glue, as the kit does not provide very much. Craftsmanship is what you make of it sometimes, so be sure to put wood glue in for all of the dowels and also wherever the MDF pieces touch.\n\nOverall I am very pleased. Be aware, the actual color is a bit lighter than pictured.

We really like this stand. It took some patience to put together. The instructions have no text, just diagrams, but we did it with no problems. It would be nice if some of the labels would peel off a little more cleanly, but at least everything was labeled. It turned out to be a little higher than we might have ideally liked, but overall it is really nice and we saved a lot over buying something at a retail store.

Very nice once I had it together. I am a weekend woodworker and was suprised at how much assembly was involved. Not hard, but time consuming. It took me 4+ hours. Make sure and buy some extra wood glue. There is not enough with the kit.\n\nDrawers are a little tight, but I am going to try and adjust them.\n\nFinish is very nice and for the price I am very happy.

I felt the instructions were the main problem. I put many pieces of furniture together for work and home and the instructions to this did not flow and were confusing. Someone with no experience would have a very difficult time assembling this piece. The pieces were not fitted as well as I would have liked and so there is a bit of lopsidedness that fortunately, only I can see. Overall it is an elegant piece and my 40" Sony LCD tv looks beautiful on it.
