    It's your basic pressboard bookshelf, with all the pitfalls (pieces that don't quite match up so you can see some pressboard where the edges don't quire meet, etc.). But we needed a tall slim bookshelf and this came with a piece to bolt the shaky shelf to the wall that makes it sturdy enough and it doesn't look bad - so long as you don't look too closely.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
