Service and delivery comments:
The product wasn't packaged well. It wasn't until the third replacement that the entertainment top had all four corners intact. At least one corner was crushed in on each of the previous tops. The first delivery was quick, but replacement took a couple of weeks because deliveries had to come from China.

We purchased this stand since it matched our other furniture. When it arrived, the top piece (main component) was damaged in transit.[...] I was able to assemble it without that piece and add it when it arrived in 3 days!A little hard to assemble, it took 2 of us about 4 hours. We took our time and was able to get it done.I recommend this piece since it would be about[$]if it was sold assembled and in a major furniture store.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery ewas prompt and they communicated with us every step of the way. Prodct was damaged in transit, but we called Customer Service. I was surprised that there was no wait and they didn't argue or question anything. They simply said they would replace the piece and it arrived within 3 days! GREAT JOB!

I was replacing a rather large entertainment center and wanted something that was attractive, sturdy, and wasn't going to restrict how I laid out my apartment living room. I was immediately attracted by the cost relative to other stands, but immediately questioned quality as a result. Let me put you at ease. This thing is solid! Upon opening the box, I was immediately impressed by how well packaged and, more importantly, protected the pieces were. Contrary to other reviews, I thought the directions were very easy to follow and screws/pieces are neatly packaged and labeled. It will take a little time and knowledge of using a screwdriver, but you'll be very satisfied with your purchase. I sure have been. If there is one downside, and this is very picky, the cap covers to hide the screws don't stay on. Wiring can also be tricky depending on how big your stereo/surround sound system is - the holes in the back are a little small if you have lots of wires. Don't let that dissuade you if your on the fence.

This stand was a replacement for an old school A/V stand, and it really changes the character of our room. The stand is very solid and heavy, and easily holds my new 50" plasma. The instructions are a bit poor, but having assembled dozens of RTA items I knew what to do from the sketches. The holes in the back are too small for all the cables that I needed to pass through, but since the back is a very thick piece of wood I felt comfortable expanding the holes to meet my needs. The other negative is that the frame around the glass doors is very wide, so any components placed on the very bottom or top of the cabinet have their IR receiver blocked by the frame. I had to rearrange my components to make it work, but someone with less flexibility might get stuck. If you can find this at a local retailer check it out first to make sure it works with your components.
