Holds my 52 inch LCD, Cable box, A/V receiver, DVD player, center channel. Looks like a more expensive piece of furniture, with a beautiful cherry finish. Couldn't ask for more for the money. Has wire openings in each section, which you can't see in the pictures.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the materials and the thought shown in the easy-to-assemble design. The included cable-clamps is a brilliant thought.\n\nIt is a hundred plus pound package and does take two people to unpack and start the assembly.\n\nThe cabinet would benefit from a second cable access hole to provide additional airflow and to allow separation of power and signal cables.

Some of the reviews say that it doesn't have much space. This is not true. I have a Direct TV HD DVR and it fits fine, as well as a Harmon Kardon AV-147 (which is huge!). I now have one place to store my AppleTV, Wii, Xbox 360 with external HD DVD player, Center channel speaker, AV-147 receiver, Direct TV receiver and one spot open. \n\nI do agree that if you have anything that runs hot, you should just leave the back totally off.\n\nJust be careful. It is finely constructed but you will need someone else to help. Also, some of the bolts take some patience. With some time everything worked out for me.

Lacks adequate width for most electronic components.\n\nWould suggest leaving back open for better access to wire/cable connectors and improved ventilation.\n\nStep #2 of construction (attach solid end piece to long bar) is almost guarenteed to result in critical breakage of particle board. \n\nAssembly directions are weak.
