The TV stand portion of this set conveniently offers 2 storage cabinets with adjustable shelves to house media equipment and media paraphernalia. The matching media tower features 3 adjustable shelves and a wood framed door on the bottom of the unit. This media tower can be used for storage of your audio visual equipment, such as DVD players and home entertainment systems, or even displaying photos and knick knacks. The back panel draws the entire set together and gives your TV a great backdrop. Very nice piece. Looks way more expensive than it costs. Once you figure the "trick" to assembly it goes easy but takes time. Do not screwstuds all the way in or when you twist cam locks you will snap them. Luckily I had extras from previous purchases. Need to find the exact depth then goes together perfectly.

Overall, this is a great unit. It's solid wood and the color is beautiful. But it wasn't packed properly, which caused scratched and gouged wood in places. Also, the metal hardware that's provided to assemble the unit is cheaply made and the hardware pieces kept breaking. Fortunately, we had extra hardware from a desk we had recenly assembled, so we used those pieces, which were a much higher quality. After the unit was assembled, it still seemed somewhat flimsy, so we're going to have to add some L-brackets on the backs of each shelving unit. But overall, still a beautiful piece.
