I found this same dresser on another website/very popular store, and it was much more expensive from there. Their website did mention that it needed to be put together, so luckily I knew that going in. The directions were fairly easy to follow, need just a power screwdriver with a philip's head (I did it in a couple afternoons while my preschooler napped and really didn't even need my husband's help). He even commented that it really is a very sturdy piece of furniture, not at all what he thought when he realized we had to put it together. It is a very nice piece for our new baby, and I expect that we will have it through all of his years growing up. There were a couple little tiny "dings" on edges of a couple of the drawers - clearly not from the packaging, more from the manufacturer, but actually nothing a little touch up pen wouldn't cover right away, and probably only noticeable to me because I put it together. Any furniture in a child's bedroom will need a touch up pen anyway sooner than later! The drawers slide beautifully and it really holds a lot. Very pretty.
