The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.
If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need a couple of people to help unload it. Alternatively, most truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once we email you the tracking information you can contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. You would be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services.

I searched everywhere to find a TV stand like this - it fits perfectly in a corner of my LR. The right combination of height, width and depth for my 42" TV and audio/video components. Roomy inside. Simple style works with modern or informal/country decor. Not inexpensive, but worth it to me. A rather heavy piece, but I equate that with quality construction. Only negative was that the edges of the shelves had defects, so I turned the boards so best side was facing forward.

We ordered two of the TV stands for niches on either side of our fireplace. I couldn't find anything in the retail stores that would work. One is used to house all of our audio/video components and the other is used to store all of our movies. We have a 52" black flat screen that hangs on the wall above the fireplace so these work wonderfully with our overall design. The cabinets came fully assembled with the exception of placing the shelves inside. The packing was outstanding. They are very heavy, well-built pieces and well worth the money. I'm really glad I found them. I had never ordered furniture online before and I was really nervous. This has been a very positive experience and gives me confidence to do it again.

We ordered two of the cabinets to place in niches on both sides of our fireplace. We needed one for video/audio components and the other for video/DVD storage. My husband didn't think the one cabinet would be enough for all of our movies. We only filled up half of the cabinet - huge storage capacity. I was so impressed with how they were shipped. Very heavy, durable construction and we had NO assembly. These are BEAUTIFUL cabinets. I was so nervous as I had never ordered furniture on-line before but just couldn't find what I was looking for in the furniture retail stores. One tiny scratch on the front of one cabinet but I touched it up in about 3 seconds. Great quality, great price, great experience.

Great, but the 'distress' look actually looks likt the paint was not a good job. I had a painter fix mine. I do like the cabinet and the adjustable shelves.

You have to unload this from the truck yourself unless you have a really nice driver like we did. The crate is very heavy. If you wanted to return it the repacking would be very difficult.

Came early. Nice look, fully assembled. Not enough open space in the back of the unit for ventilation and cable connections, nothing that couldn't be solved with a mini saw. Overall very pleased!
