The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.
If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need a couple of people to help unload it. Alternatively, most truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once we email you the tracking information you can contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. You would be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services.

While required assembly was minimal, the directions were essentially non-existent. On the plus side, it is robustly built so it can carry the load of a large plasma or lcd TV. So while heavy is marked as a con, it is a necessary con.

We are using this for our large plasma flat screen TV. It holds our cable box, DVD, Wii...with room to spare. The drawers hold all of the remotes and accessories, as well as some DVDs. It is well built and stylish. The glass sliding doors prevent dust from accumulating and allow the use of the remotes.

Excellent piece of furniture to look at...and it manages the clutter that invariably accompanies audiovisual equipment...keeping the living area tidy.\n\nUnfortunately, the groove for the right sliding door was damaged...the wood edge split...apparently from something thsat happened during shipping. After using a black sharpee it looks fine...although the door doesn't roll smoothly in the track.

Included in the price was delivwery to my apartment...but not set up. I was able to unpack it myself and move it into position, but it wasn't easy. I would recommend paying extra for someone to unpack and set it up...unless you have someone to help. It is heavy and awkward for one person.

This holds our 60" Sony widescreen TV beautifully! There is plenty of room for our other components and it looks fantastic. Very sturdy construction and attractive styling, it is among the best available TV stands we found locally or online.

Delivery was 1 week early on the estimate! It shipped better than anything I've seen in recent memory, we were very impressed. It came on a wood pallet, had a sturdy box, styrofoam at all corners/underneath/the sides, etc... Needless to say, we will be browsing this site again for our future furniture needs!
