I bought this TV stand last July. Everything fine except this funiture spread out bad smell. People told me that is Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC). I can smell it from 5 feet away. After almose year the odor still very strong. I tried few things to get rid of the odor, nothing working. Not a good environmental product.

I searched low and high (from about $350 - $2500 range) before finally settling on this stand as a good comprimise between quality and value. [...] Unfortunately it did have a small blemish on the face of the upper platform (where the TV sits), looked like it was packaged before the stain was completely dry and the packing material adhered to it. Well, I didn't notice until I had the stand nearly assembled so obviously I didn't want to ship a 200lbs stand back. I called them, talked to a US-based representative, had a repair kit (stain, brushes, etc.) that's an actual Plateau product (so it will match) [...] I will not hesitate to do business with this company again.

This was a great purchase. I actually bought this used from Rack & Stands and was a bit worried about what I would get. I received it with some unnoticeable nicks on the back edges, everything else was in prestine condition. This is a a beautiful piece and the dark espresso looks great against my light sandy colored floor. Everything fits in the spaces provdied and the TV looks great on top of it. It took about an hour and half to put together, only because i wanted to ensure i was doing everything right. Also the instructions don't really do a good job of showing what direction some of the pieces need to face. Other than that this items is beautiful!

Needed a good looking solid stand for my new Sony 60" XBR2 that would accomodate a large center channel speaker.
This fits the bill well.
Looks great and really like the sliding frosted glass doors.
Only one issue-the lower track was installed off center and I had to remove and relocate it. It was glued in solid and tricky to accomplish without damaging the stand. One small nick-not bad.

This was the best stand I could find for the price. This was also the only stand that I could find that would fit my Klipsch center channel. It fits in middle like a glove. Like it was made for it. It is a heavy stand but the quality is good. This was my 2nd purchase from your website.... You can't beat their prices and selection is the best you will find anywhere!
