We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." If a slot were cut into the top rear of the stand the speaker wire could be routed internally. As designed, a flimsy plastic wire loop is placed on the column as the stand is assembled. The speaker wire then protrudes from the rear of the stand. Otherwise the stand is very well built and looks excellent.

This is a great, solid speaker stand at a low price. Used it on B&W 602 S3s and it works great -- looks classy, too, and at a great price compared to B&W's stands..
