I purchased this stand for my 50" Panasonic TC-P50G10 Plasma TV. This stand is heavy! [...] that back panel is black on my stand, unlike the grey shown in the photos, but I like the black better anyhow. [...] The instructions are clear and the stand assembles easily. I found that the cutouts for the cables were large enough for my system. As someone else said in another review, the shelves are not very high, so some components might not fit, but I had no problem with that. This is probably the sturdiest piece of furniture in the house, and there should not be any problem supporting anything that you and a friend (or two) can lift to put on it. In fact, between it and the TV on it, I doubt that it will ever be moved again. By the way, the powder coated finish on the stand is great and the smoked glass shelves are very cool. My black flat panel TV looks wonderful on this stand.

The stand needs work as the back mesh is not fastened down enough with welds. With my home audio system, when the subwoofers kick in with a large amount of bass, the back mesh rattles quite a bit. If they can fix this, not a bad stand for the money.

The only thing is, you have to check on the height of your receiver for the fixed shelf. Mine barely fit and I mean barely.

Looks good. Holes to route all wires through on each shelf should be a lot larger. Thankfully I am using pure HDMI connections because there's no way I'd be able to route a bunch of component hookups through those amazingly small holes.

Did not come in good condition. Scratches all over frame. I had to settle because I needed a TV stand ASAP. Not satisfied. Shopping for another one elsewhere.

Excellent design. Fawless finish and fit. No problems with the setup. For an open design unit. This actually has a wire management system coupled with the rear grill hides the tangled web we weave behind the unit.

Product arrived within the stated time frame,although I could not get UPS to track shipment until 12 hours prior to arrival. When I saw the box I almost croked. I had the driver stipulate Extreme Damage to Carton! I thought UPS used the box to demonstate/practice how to destroy a box/LOL! I have never been more pleased with the Manufactures packaging. The produce survived what appeared to be and accordian crush on one end. With so many holes/tears/punches/staples ripped out in the box I was amazed that the metal finsh was not damaged/scratched, nor the glass edges chipped or cracked! The foam inserts/deviders inside was almost like snow from the handling. All the small parts packages were still inside. Considering it shipped at 147 lbs the product was flawless!

The Sanus SFV49 is a very well made TV stand, I put a 52" Sharp LCD on it, AV Reciever, HD Cable box, L-C-R speakers. It fits all that gear and is rock sold. Black frame with 3 smoke gray glass shelves is very attractive.
