Fairly heavy box. Instructions show 2 people required to assemble. Probably for getting the box inside and at times to help in aligning things. Watch the assembly instructions and keep in mind which side of the unit will be front. Finished surfaces need to be forward. Note the vertical center board on the shelfs. Make sure you get the finished edge facing forward, it's not as it is shown in the instructions. Assemble was realitively easy. Take your time. Inventory the parts before you start. Read the directions a couple times before you start assembly. They provide a little marker in case you knick the finished surfaces. I did not need the robertson bit tool that is shown to be required in the instructions.

Fairly easy to put together. The pieces don't fit together that well in some areas, but all in all a pretty nice piece for the money.
