I bought this for my new flat-panel TV and to hide the wires and clutter in the back. The cabinet has plenty of room for all the components and cables are neatly hidden. \n\nAfter I put it together I realized that it could have been much narrower (and lighter) and would have looked better in the room.

This tv stand is very simple, but elegant. I am happy overall with it. If I had to say anything bad about it, it would be that [...]the doors will not stay on straight! I've tried many times to make them open smooth and it's impossible! Other than that, it's what I expected and I'm overall pleased.

We like this stand. It really goes well with our Samsung 52" LCD TV. The assembley was fairly easy. Only the right side door did not align properly but is not a major hassle.

Item description implied wood construction. In fact it is MDF plus lesser quality parts and vinyl wood grain. It is reasonalbly attractive, serves its purpose (50" plasma tv, receiver, dvd player, etc.), but is overpriced for what you get.

The completed cabinet has four large shelves for your A/V equipment. The construction was easy. Assemby L brackets are stronger than the hardware previouly included, but the Assemby Manual was not updated to show this change. Holds a TV Larger than stated - mine is a 52" LCD.\nEveryone that has seen the Credenza thinks it is beautiful.

My husband and I looked everywhere for a nice TV stand for our new 50" black plasma TV and surround sound equipment. This is EXACTLY what we wanted and could not find anywhere else. It very easy to assemble, is heavy enough to hold our equipment, and looks fantastic. We looked at high-end furniture stores, and some not so high- end, and could not find what we wanted. We finally went to the internet to shop. I am glad we did. We have gotten many compliments on how nice our entire TV unit looks. It holds our things firmly, but doean't take up all the space our old 50" set took. I would highly recommend it. Keep in mind it is not completely black, it has a very slight distressed look in the wood, which in my mind makes it look that much nicer. We could not be happier!
