The tempered glass shelves are adjustable, allowing you to customize the stand for your collection. Comments about Wood Technology Designer Series Media Storage Stand in Ebony:

This is a well made CD rack. It has to be assembled, but the holes in the parts lined up neatly with the hardware, all the hardware was there with a few spare pieces included, and all was packaged very securely so nothing arrived broken. It was easy for me to assemble, but I have built some basic furniture myself so this items ease of assembly may not be true for everyone. You will need only a medium size phillip's head screwdriver. A small wrench or pair of pliers will come in handy if you put in the spikes used if the rack is to go on a carpet.One drawback - the base for this rack is kind of narrow, front to back, so if you have small kids or pets I strongly recommend that you attach this rack to a wall to prevent any accidents.
