I just love this open look that comes from this TV stand. I had a large wooden entertainment center that I couldn't move. Now I can slide this back and forth to deal with cables, etc. It's a godsend for me. It is very pleasant to look at and it gave me the ability to raise my TV screen up to a better height. I mounted a 40" Samsung LCD and it worked out fine. The room that I have this in is done contemporary and this fits in just great with that look.

I needed a stand with a small footprint that would hold my 50 inch Pioneer Plasma TV securely. This one works very well. The mount is very sturdy and the TV doesn't lean forward once mounted. The swiveling feature is nice also. The gloss black goes nicely with the Pioneer plasma screen and there is room for my center channel speaker on the top shelf below the TV.
There really isn't any wire management though. It's just the perforated rear TV support that hides the wires, but there's no channels to route the wires through. Overall, this is a very nice, attractive, sturdy stand and I would recommend it.

[...] It was fairly easy to put together, except for the extra nuts and bolts that came with the assembly. The extra hardware items were a little confusing to figure out, as we put the unit together. We wish it had only included the specific nuts & bolts that were necessary to put this one unit together. The extra hardware should not be included in the package. We like the sleek contemporary look of the entertainment center. It's sturdy & functional, but also very modern with the black glass shelves and shiny black metal framing. It fits beautifully with our contemporary room design.

Have had the stand for 3 mos now and so far no problems. Was easy to construct and took only about 1 hr to 1.5 hrs. Have 50 in Pioneer Elite Kuro and supports its weight by back mount. The back mount looks and (so far) is very sturdy. Holds all our electronics (tivo, receiver, game consoles). Have yet to move the stand to another location, but since glass is removable, hopefully will also move easily. Probably wouldn't want to upgrade to a larger tv over 50 in because our tv is about at the weight limit of this stand. Looks great and works great. Recommended!

besides being able to hold the different complimentary products i,e;bluray, dvd player and home sound system i like that it swivels enough to see it in many different directions.

This stand is perfect for a flat panel TV. I mounted a 46" plazma and was concerned if the stand was study enough to safely carry the weight without tipping. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy this stand is built and it has a nice modern appearance as well. The best part was the assembly. This was by far the best illustrated and easy to assemble kit of anything I've ever put together. Every part was clearly identified and easy to find. There are extra parts for hanging virtually every type of flat panel TV. Assembly time was exactly as stated. The vertical height is easily adjusted and the left to right swival feature is convenient too. The only feature I'd change is the dark black shelves. While they are very heavy and sturdy, the black shows every speck of dust and frequent cleaning is needed.

I needed a relatively small stand to hold my new 50" Pioneer KURO plasma. This one is only 44 inches wide but is plenty sturdy. Plasma mounts securely on the upright and it does not lean forward. There is room for my 7" high center channel speaker on the top shelf under the TV and the gloss black color compliments my Pioneer plasma TV nicely. Highly recommended.
There is no real "wire management". The perforated back panel just helps to hide the cables. It would have been nice to have channels to run the wires through.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
